Upgrading and Updating DragOn

Update / Upgrade Instructions

To update your copy of DragOn to the latest version, please follow the instructions below:

DragOn Latest Version: 1.0.44*

* This version includes an updated version of the DragOn Core Library.

1. To update any version of the DragOn apps only (Stand Alone Mac & PC, VST3 and AU), go to DragOn's Patch Menu and choose 'Check for Updates'

2. The app will search to see if there is a new update and if there is it will prompt you to install it.

3. It is best to restart DragOn after the update - you can check the version in Patch Menu>About

1. Locate the Download Code from your purchase email:

2. Copy the Download Code and open your DragOn Downloader Installer - this installs the necessary files.

3. In the first screen of the Downloader software - paste your Download Code (red box area):

4. Click 'Verify' and follow the instructions for the install

5. When the installation is complete, click the EXIT button and MAKE SURE YOU COPY THE SERIAL NUMBER in the license pop up screen (in red box in image below) if it is a product upgrade (e.g. DragOn LE to DragOn):

6. Locate the downloaded files, pick the installer for your operating system, double click that installer and install the DragOn program files.

7. Replace the old DragOn Core Library with the updated DragOn Core Library

8. Open DragOn - if it opens to an Authentication screen, enter your email and paste your serial number in to activate DragOn.

1. Locate the Download Code your Fender Studio Pro account online

Login to your Fender Studio Pro account online
Go to the 'My Gear' section in your account (in red):

Navigate to the DragOn Plugin in the Software area

Click the arrow in the lower right hand corner where is says DragOn Sampler LE (red square in above image)
This will open the area where your download code is (see image below - Download Code is showcased by red square)
